The as-built facility and the design of the facility may differ due to site constraints. World BioHazTec inspects the physical work to ensure that the architectural features and equipment meets the government regulations, guidelines and standards.

World BioHazTec can provide construction solutions and work with the Contractor to rectify such issues. Recommendations are always documented and submitted to the Owner’s team members for discussion and approval.

Barrier Inspection
The barrier inspection allows us to identify potential maintenance constraints and continuous improvement opportunities. During the construction of the facility, a World BIoHazTec biocontainment engineer visits the site and conducts a Barrier Inspection to prepare the facility for the commissioning and/or certification. We recommend having the Barrier Inspection conducted at 50%, 75% and 95% completion to ensure the facility meets the design intent. A Report of Findings is provided upon completion of our site inspection.
An industry expert will come on site to:
- Evaluate HVAC components
- Inspect finishes
- Examine sealing techniques
- Investigate mock-ups
- Discuss construction techniques with the Contractor
- Develop HVAC failure scenarios for commissioning and/or certification
- Provide work-around resolutions for construction issues identified.
- Advise on compilation of safety and facility policies and procedures
