We’ve provided consulting for hospitals, clean rooms, and laboratories since 1995. As we expanded, we began to take on more specialized projects like indoor air quality assessments, hazardous materials abatement, and healthcare Statement of Conditions preparation.
Eventually we began to take on healthcare niche construction projects such as:

- Medical Waste Technologies
Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, we received a considerable influx of projects to combat bioterrorism. We focused our business development efforts on developing a certification program for biocontainment labs and providing expert consultation for them.
For the past 20 years, we’ve partnered with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide our expertise for the design and construction for their Select Agent Laboratories (BSL-3 and BSL-4). These include the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Integrated Research Facilities located in Maryland and Montana, USA.
Our expertise extends far beyond BSL-4 laboratories; we’ve conducted evaluations for over 300 BSL-3, BSL-2 labs, cleanrooms, and critical environments. This includes vivariums, agricultural facilities, animal facilities, isolation wards, pilot plants, and special clinical studies units. Drawing upon our extensive experience, we offer a distinctive perspective on complex facilities, enabling us to distinguish effective designs from ineffective ones.
