The Challenge
World BioHazTec was selected to serve as the consultant on the design for this one-of-a-kind BSL-3/ABSL-3 and BSL-4 cabinet laboratory.
The Solution
In collaboration with Fundación Ciencia para la Vida and laboratory section supervisors, World BioHazTec facilitated in-depth discussions to identify the correct fit for a BSL-4 cabinet laboratory, aligning with the organization’s present and future requirements. Our team of experts provided Fundación Ciencia para la Vida with comprehensive insights, leveraging our wealth of knowledge, experience, and understanding of their unique needs to determine the optimal setup for their BSL-4 cabinet laboratory, including essential support services.
Through open dialogue and careful consideration, we worked together to establish the basis of design and conceptual framework that would form the foundation of their new laboratory space. By ensuring alignment and agreement among all stakeholders, we laid the groundwork for a successful and tailored solution that meets Fundación Ciencia para la Vida’s specific objectives and aspirations.
The Result
World BioHazTec led discussions for the detailed design. During construction, our biocontainment engineer will conduct a barrier inspection. Finally, World BioHazTec will commission the BSL-3/ABSL-3 and BSL-4 cabinet laboratory ensuring its readiness for operation.
